Annual - Full Meeting of the Parish Council

7:00 pm
Annual Parish Council Meeting – Brief Description
An Annual Parish Council Meeting is a formal meeting of the parish council, usually held in May, where councillors elect the chairperson (and sometimes vice-chair) for the coming year, review governance documents, and set priorities for the council’s work.
It is different from the Annual Parish Meeting, which is a gathering of local residents. The Annual Parish Council Meeting focuses on council business, such as:
  • Confirming committee memberships and representatives.
  • Reviewing policies, standing orders, and financial regulations.
  • Setting the schedule of meetings for the year ahead.
It is open to the public, but unlike the Annual Parish Meeting, it is run by the council and follows a set agenda. – Click here
