Community Awards 2023
At the Annual Parish Meeting on March 15th, 2023, the following people were presented with Awards to mark their contribution to the life of Shevington.
Shevington in Bloom
“for displaying vision and courage in bringing improvements toi Shevington Village, working with local schools and creating many of the floral displays that give pleasure to all.”
Elaine Roper
“for playing a massive part in shaping the community at Appley Bridge into what it is today.”
Shevington Village Kitchen
“for going beyond the call of duty to help the vulnerable in the community both during Covid and since.”
